Madonna’s dancing in a pink leotard in Hung Up, came third, followed by Kylie Minogue’s Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, where she dances provocatively in a white hooded outfit.

Eminem’s Stan, which tells the story of an obsessive music fan, was voted fifth.

Beyonce Tina and Matthew Knowles the parents of Beyonce and Solange have decided to call it quits after 29 years of marriage. Tina Knowles, petitioning to end the marriage, filed papers in court on November 11, 2009. Sources close to the family suggest it may be for the fact that a paternity suit was filed against Matthew in October of this year.

Alexsandra Wright filed paternity papers against Matthew Knowles the beginning of October, claiming he was the father of her unborn child. Alexsandra who is now 8 months pregnant has said she and Matthew had a relationship for sometime before she became pregnant. Beyonce Knowles launches her own fragrance

R&B star Beyonce Knowles is super excited about her debut fragrance, claiming that her fans already love it. The 'Crazy in Love' hitmaker has been flooded with compliments ever since she has launched the perfume, reported People magazine.

"I've been working on it for a while now. I was on tour for a year, and I have meet-and-greets with fans. I've never in my life gotten so many compliments.

"The fans loved it. They were like, 'I love that, I'm getting that, why isn't it out right now? I need it!," said Beyonce.

The fragrance, which will arrive in stores in February, has been named 'Beyonce Heat', taking inspiration from the heated performances the 28-year-old singer delivers.

"A lot of my performances have had fire involved, so we thought 'Heat'. Also, red is one of my favourite colours, as is gold," she said.

Beyoncé and Taylor Swift lead Grammy nominations

Pop-R&B superstar Beyoncé and country-pop singer-songwriter Taylor Swift dominate the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards with 10 and eight nominations, respectively.

Beyoncé, who already has seven Grammy awards under her belt, is nominated for “Album of the Year” for “I Am… Sasha Fierce,” her third studio album that spurred the hits “If I Were A Boy,” “Halo,” “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It),” "Diva" and “Sweet Dreams.”

The Ryan Tedder-penned track “Halo” also gets the nod for “Record of the Year” and “Best Female Pop Vocal Performance,” while the infectious and much-imitated dance number “Single Ladies” earned Beyoncé the “Best Female R&B Vocal Performance,” “Song of the Year” and “Best R&B Song” nominations.

Blessings keep pouring in for Taylor Swift this year as she holds the flag of country music with eight nominations that sent 19-year old music sweetheart “freaking out and jumping up and down.”

In an interview, an astonished Taylor said she “honestly never would have predicted this, eight nominations - I'm ecstatic, and blown away and so, so thankful.”

She goes against the “Single Ladies” diva in the “Album of the Year” category for the record-breaking album “Fearless” (which is also nominated for “Best Country Album”) and “Song of the Year,” “Record of the Year” and “Best Female Pop Vocal Performance” categories for “You Belong With Me.”

Also nominated is Taylor’s interrupter Kanye West, who, along with Black Eyed Peas, grabbed six nominations each.

The “Gold Digger” singer, quoting The Beatles song, “[got] by with a little help from [his] friends” Rihanna, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo, Kid Cudi & Common and Young Jeezy for his nominations for “Best Rap Performance By a Duo or Group,” “Best Rap/Sung Collaboration” and “Best Rap Song.”

Black Eyed Peas made it to the list with their “Boom Boom Pow” power, dancing their way with two nominations for album and pop vocal album of the year for “The E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies).”

The foursome, who is set to embark on an ambitious 100-city world tour on 2010, is also nominated for “Best Dance Recording” for their second chart-topper under “E.N.D.,” “I Gotta Feeling.”

Taking a hiatus from the music industry must’ve served R&B artist Maxwell… well. After eight years, he released his fourth studio album, “BLACKsummers’night,” which debuted at the top spot in the Billboard charts, and now, has earned a spot in the nominees for “Best R&B album.”

His song, “Pretty Wings,” is nominated for “Best R&B Song,” “Best Male R&B Vocal Performance” and “Song of the Year,” while “Love You” landed him a “Best Male Pop Vocal Performance” nod.

Pop sensation Lady Gaga will not have any “Bad Romance” with the Grammy’s, as she has scored five nominations, tying with French DJ David Guetta and hip-hop mogul Jay-Z.

“Sitting in my dressing room, puttin on my wig and lipstick, wondering how I got here. I am so grateful. 6 grammy nominations little monsters.

“Thank u for always believing in me, you are the kingdom of my music. I will always have faith in you my friends. You are the fame. Xxgagaloo,” tweeted Gaga, who competes with Beyonce and Taylor for song and record of the year awards with her number one electro-pop hit, “Poker Face.”

Her commercially and critically acclaimed album, “The Fame,” is also in the running to claim the “Album of the Year” and “Best Dance Recording” trophies.

Garnering four nods each are Kings of Leon, John Newton, RedOne, T-Pain, Bruce Springsteen, Colbie Caillat, Keith Urban, and Michael Giacchino.

Kings of Leon go head to head with the big nominees with “Use Somebody” roaring for record and song of the year. Likewise with Dave Matthews Band with “Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King” for “Album of the Year.”

In the running for the “Best New Artist” recognition, meanwhile, are Zac Brown Band, Keri Hilson, MGMT, Silversun Pickups and The Ting Tings.

The nominees, which were determined by The Recording Academy, were announced on Dec. 2 at the Club Nokia in Los Angeles, California. The program, titled “"The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!! — Countdown To Music's Biggest Night,” was aired as a one-hour live primetime special by CBS.

Winners will be named on Jan. 31, 2010 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

I am very unpredictable - said Beyonce

“I am very unpredictable,” Beyonce said on last night’s concert special about her, and, uh, that is just not true. She is a lot of things — talented, beloved, a non-stop hit-maker — but she’s also one of our most reliable celebrities. We count on her to be beautiful, to make top-40 jams we’ll shout along to in the car, to be essentially scandal-free. “Beyonce: I Am…Yours” was one giant (fun!) infomercial for her brand of lovely diligence, but its title, like its star’s declarations about herself, wasn’t quite accurate: Are there performers less “ours” than Beyonce? I can’t think of one.

Look, this special was totally enjoyable, and the concert footage demonstrated for the jillionth time that Beyonce is one hell of a performer — she can command an entire stadium’s attention with the arch of an eyebrow. (Being in a leotard helps.) She has an awesome all-female band, and everyone in it respects and admires her. Beyonce is a very hard worker, and when we’re extremely lucky, we get to see her interact with her husband for a second or two.

But she’s also elusive, and even telling her own origin story glosses over details that everyone in the audience already knows. If you’re going to bring up the old days of Destiny’s Child, do you want to utter the words “Michelle” or “Kelly”? If you show footage from the then-tween group’s debut on Star Search, might you mention that yes, there were six people in the group at the time? No on all counts. She says that she wrote “Crazy in Love” when she was falling for Jay-Z, whose name she doesn’t say (actin’ kinda shady?), but she doesn’t mention anything beyond that. It’s fine — that’s her right, certainly, to try to retain a shred of privacy — but this hardly makes her ours.

And that’s how I, at least, want it: Beyonce’s best anthems have always been about selfhood, independence, confidence, and ladypower. I just wish this special had the balls to call itself “I Am…Mine” and admit that among the many things we admire about Beyonce is that she’s not ours. In fact the opposite’s true. We’re hers.

Beyonce is a stupid person?

A leading Egyptologist has called pop star Beyonce Knowles a "stupid person" for her lack of interest and knowledge about ancient Egypt.

Historian Zahi Hawass, Egypt's chief Egyptologist, was annoyed by Knowles' ignorance as she toured the Giza pyramids near Cairo recently, reports contactmusic.com.

"I showed her the Sphinx and I gave her a book on King Tutankhamen. She's a stupid person and she doesn't understand a thing and she doesn't want to understand... She's coming here to take pictures and that's it," said Hawass.

BEYONCE PREFERS A WINDY EVENING

Beyonce Knowles amazed partygoers in London by insisting her table at nightspot Kanaloa was equipped with an industrial fan to keep her hair moving.

Beyonce Knowles requested a 'wind machine' at a London nightclub.

The 'Crazy In Love' singer hired new nightspot Kanaloa to party with the crew and dancers from her 'I Am Sasha Fierce' world tour and stunned event organisers with her bizarre request.

A source said: "Beyonce arrived at about midnight with a massive entourage.

"On her table, alongside huge treasure chest cocktails, she had a big industrial fan which remained just inches from her face to keep her hair blowing everywhere - just like it does in her 'Crazy in Love' video."

This is not the first time the 'If I Were A Boy' hitmaker's extravagance has drawn attention this week.

While performing in Liverpool, the singer booked a separate hotel room to house her 21 pieces of luggage.

A source at the city's Malmaison hotel - where the star took a £170-a-night room for her luggage - said: "She had seven suitcases, three hand-luggage bags and two boxes, all for her mammoth concert. In the cases there were, apparently, 14 dresses, lots of shoes, make-up and 25 wigs."

It took four helpers to carry her luggage up the stairs to the room, which was situated close to the Liverpool Echo Arena, where she performed twice this week.

Beyonce and Paul McCartney in Thanksgiving specials

NEW YORK — ABC says Paul McCartney and Beyonce (bee-AHN'-say) will star in back-to-back one-hour specials Thanksgiving night.

The evening starts at 9 p.m. EST with a Beyonce concert that was taped over the summer in Las Vegas.

That will be followed by a McCartney special that includes highlights from his July concert at Citi Field in New York City. The stadium in Queens is next to the former site of Shea Stadium, where he and his fellow Beatles rocked at the height of Beatlemania. Footage from that 1965 concert also will air during the special.

Both specials will offer interviews and personal glimpses of the stars.

Beyonce and Lady Gaga in Lesbianic Collaboration?

Beyoncé's collaboration with Lady Gaga on her next video for the single "Video Phone" — while amazing-sounding beyond human comprehension — presents a major problem. How do the divas share the stage as equals? Or more fairly, how does Lady Gaga restrain herself enough so that she is the fame monster that she is yet also takes a supportive role at Beyoncé's side? The collaboration was born out of their mutual respect and love for one another, and now, apparently, Lady Gaga is becoming one with Beyoncé's wardrobe preferences. In the video, she channels Sasha Fierce's style with "a white strapless leotard, matching opera gloves, and long, flowing hair," according to People.

“When I was doing her video with her, she called me, and she said, ‘What do you want to do?’” Gaga revealed in an interview with New York’s Z100 radio station on Tuesday morning. “And I’m like, ‘I don’t want to show up in some frickin’ hair bow and be fashion Gaga in your video.’ I said, ‘I want to do you.’” In the same interview, Gaga said she just wanted to “do my version of Beyoncé, so the whole time I was learning the choreography they were calling me Gee-yoncé.”

But while Gaga scratches Beyoncé's back (or lets her know when her thong is showing through her leotard — however it is that divas express solidarity), Beyoncé could be taking style tips from Gaga, too. Grazia reports that Beyoncé has expressed interest in meeting with one of the hottest up-and-coming designers of the moment, David Koma. Lady Gaga recently wore a Koma creation in the random Internet fashion video she shot for Dazed Digital. So maybe she tipped Beyoncé off to his genius when they were brushing each other's hair one day (or while figuring out how to affix avant-garde nostril zippers to their faces — whatever it is divas do together when they talk about boys).

Cheryl Cole star-struck by Beyonce

The "Girls aloud" star admits she acted like a star-struck fan when she was first introduced to the singer on Britain's talent show "The X Factor" last year, reports thelist. "I turned into a fool when I saw Beyonce, I couldn't speak to her. I really embarrassed myself. When I saw Jay-Z the other week I did the same. I didn't know whether it was because I'd built it up in my head, but when he approached me I started screaming Jay-Z and then turned my back on him," she said.

Cheryl also revealed if she could only listen to one artist's music for the rest of her life she would pick songs by Beyonce, who is married to rapper Jay-Z.

"I think Beyonce would fulfil everything I'd need really. I love watching massive performances with pyrotechnics and dancers, but she can also give you those tender moments. Beyonce is my favourite, but I've got a jukebox at my house and I put random things on. Music lifts your spirit and takes you to a good place," she said.

Beyonce's fans warm things up ahead of concert

Abu Dhabi: Beyonce's fans, both young and not so young, turned up at the Yasalam Formula One Fanzone to enjoy the R'n'B diva's songs on Saturday. The fans also vied for tickets being offered for her highly anticipated concert on Yas Island this Thursday.

"We held the ‘dance-a-thon' because we wanted to give a chance for children to go to Beyonce's concert because we know how excited they are that she is performing here in Abu Dhabi.

"The aim of this event, along with all other Yasalam activities, is to bring the spirit of the race to everyone," Mike Fairburn, a director with Flash, said.

It took the crowd of youngsters a while before they made it onto the dance floor. However, once Crazy in Love blasted through the speakers, there was no holding back.

In the end, three contestants proved their worth and won the coveted prizes.

"I'm a huge Beyonce fan... I'm very happy, excited and relieved that I won [one of the tickets]. It was a bit harder than I thought, we had to go three times in this heat," Ymane Lakhilf, a 24-year-old Etihad employee, said.

Wessam Eltonsy, a 12-year-old student from Al Najah International School and one of the winners, said she had so much fun at the event.

Mohammad Al Yafei, a 15-year-old student from Al Nahda School agreed.

"It wasn't very hard. I had a lot of fun dancing in the competition, even though I'm not a huge fan of Beyonce. But I'm still going to let the whole world know that I won," he said.

Beyonce Knowles postpones concert in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, (ANI): Beyonce Knowles' concert in Malaysia was postponed by the singer herself, revealed Information, Communications and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim.

Datuk said that there was no interference by his ministry on the matter and that Beyonce, 28, who was scheduled to hold the concert on October 18, had decided to postpone the concert on her own, reports New Straits Times Online.

According to him, there are many possibilities as to why she decided not to perform on the given date, and cited that one of the reasons could be because of pressure from the organisers. He also said her refusal to comply with the dress code or simply because the concert would not be profitable could lead to her postponement.

But he denied rumours that she had been pressured by threats from certain groups after she announced that Malaysia would be one of the venues for her "I AM...World Tour".

Beyonce And Lady Gaga's 'Video Phone' Clip Confirmed!

All week, gossip sites have been abuzz with rumors that two of the fiercest divas in the game — Beyoncé and Lady Gaga — had joined forces on a super-secret video for B's "Video Phone."

It was a fairly big deal, and accordingly there's been much quoting of "insider" sources and "my boy [who] worked as a stylist for [Gaga's] dancers," but no confirmation from any major contributor to the project — until now.

On Thursday (October 15), a spokesperson for director Hype Williams confirmed to MTV News that that both Beyoncé and Gaga appear in the "Video Phone" clip, which Williams shot last weekend in Brooklyn's Greenpoint neighborhood.

Williams' spokesperson would not confirm any additional information about the "Video Phone" shoot, but, according to Life and Style magazine, security on set was extremely tight, and the video is shaping up to be a fashion bonanza, with Beyoncé wearing "a feathered dress" and Gaga sporting "something wild ... the fashion is sick and insane."

Mirroring the Life and Style report, another source posted on Pulse Music Board that the "Video Phone" clip was shot on a "closed set [with] no cameras or video phones" allowed. Apparently, the video version of the song — which is from Beyoncé's 2008 I Am ... Sasha Fierce album — features B and Gaga trading up-tempo verses, and sees Gaga adding an extra verse to the tune. The clip also features "lots of choreography" and "more dancers than the two girls [Beyoncé is] always with."

Beyonce in Egypt

First Abu Dhabi, then Istanbul, now Egypt. Beyonce's got a busy winter ahead of her.

Ok, so it's not a local story, but ever since we found out Beyonce was heading for Abu Dhabi we've become obsessed.

And she's not ending her regional tour there. First, the Grand Prix, now a private party in Port Ghalib on November 6, if reports in the news today are to be believed.

The R&B superstar will headline an official launch party for Port Ghalib, a new luxury resort by the Red Sea.

According to the hotel, Beyoncé will arrive at Marsa Alam airport from Istanbul along with a 76-strong entourage the day before the gig.

It is the first time Beyoncé has performed in Egypt and the singer has confirmed the show is part of her I AM... Sasha Fierce global tour.

Beyoncé was one of the first headline artists confirmed for the inaugural Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and will open proceedings in style on October 29.

The Egypt show will be followed by a firework display and beach party. Organisers say charter flights will be increased on the day of the concert allowing people flying from Cairo to Marsa Alam the chance to catch the superstar.

Tickets and packages will go on sale soon and fans are requested to check the hotel website at portghalib.com for more information.

Beyonce wants to turn dad’s life into a movie

Beyonce Knowles has revealed that she wants to bring her father’s life story to the big screen.

The singer said she was in awe of manager-father Mathew’s success and wants his early life to be turned into a movie.

“I’d like to do a film loosely based on my father’s childhood and school years,” Contactmusic quoted her as telling Billboard magazine.

“He’s had an interesting life. But that will probably be in a couple of years,” she added.

Mathew dumped his job as a salesman in the early 1990s to help his star daughter and her former Destiny’s Child bandmates.

He later found his own record label, Music World Entertainment, giving a chance to a number of other artists. (ANI)

Beyonce Breaks Silence On Kanye West's VMA Antics

Beyonce Breaks Silence On Kanye West's VMA Antics
by Celebuzz

Beyonce might have deserved the praise she received during Kanye West's mic-yanking rant at the MTV Video Music Awards — but that doesn't mean she liked it.

The "Single Ladies" and "Halo" songbird, making her first comments about West's interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech on the program, said she was embarrassed by his antics.

On Friday at Billboard magazine's annual Women In Music event, Beyoncé told O: The Oprah Magazine editor Gayle King:

"Well, I knew his intentions, and I knew he was standing up for art; and he told me before, when they said the nominees, he's like, 'You have this award,'"... "And when they didn't call my name he was, like, completely shocked. And when he walked on the stage, I was like, 'No, no, no!' and then he spoke, and I was like, 'Oh, no, no, no!'

"But in the end, it ended up being a great night, and Taylor Swift did get her moment," Beyonce continued. "And I didn't have to make an acceptance speech."

Kanye certainly seems to have paid a price — his tour with Lady Gaga was just canceled.

Do you think Beyonce sounds like she's forgiven him?

Pregnant woman claims Beyoncé's dad is father of her baby

A six-months pregnant woman claims superstar singer Beyoncé's dad Mathew Knowles is the father of her unborn baby.

Alexsandra Wright has filed a paternity case against Knowles in LA County Superior Court alleging that he is the father.

Knowles, 58, has been married to Beyonce's mum Tina since 1980.

Wright is understood to be in her late 30s and lives in LA.

Knowles is the manager of Beyoncé and her sister Solange. He was the mastermind behind Beyoncé's girl group, Destiny's Child.

Ouch… sources say the Knowles (Mathew and Tina in pic) have been ‘happily’ married since 1980.

Beyonce Named Woman of the Year

Beyonce will receive the Woman of the Year Award at the 2009 Billboard Women in Music Event. The ceremony takes place on Oct. 2 in New York.

Billboard's editorial director, Bill Werde, says, "Beyonce is a multi-platinum artist and a multi-talented woman who clearly embodies the qualities of the excellence and achievement that the Billboard Woman of the Year Award was created to honor.

She has not only influenced pop culture with her hit songs and signature dance moves, but has inspired women everywhere with her unique style, business savvy and dedication to charitable causes."

Beyonce threw Lindsay out of her dressing room in Singapore

Washington (ANI): Beyonce Knowles reportedly drew frowns with her diva tantrums at the F1 Rocks gig in Singapore, and was seen making Lindsay Lohan move out of her own dressing room. The singer is said to have ordered her team to grab her the largest dressing area backstage, which was already claimed by Lindsay as she arrived before.

But the 'Mean Girls' actress was left facing disappointment after being told to vacate the room because Beyonce wanted it for herself, it was claimed. "I've been a bit down. It was a strange night. Everyone was being aggressive and bothering me. I really didn't like it," Contactmusic quoted Lindsay as having told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper.

Beyonce also purportedly made her support acts face the heat, quite literally, after her entourage declined to use her air conditioning for them. British DJ Seb Fontaine, who suffered heatstroke, told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "We were told, 'No they are Beyonce's fans.' I wasn't asking to play her drum kit on stage. I just wanted to keep cool."

The 'Single Ladies' hitmaker further demanded six beauty chambers, fitness equipment, an authentic fruit platter and tea and honey in her 139-page rider.

Beyonce's Pics from Singapore Performance

Beyonce Outclassed Lindsay Lohan in Singapore

It was not fast cars, but popstar Beyonce Knowles who was the centre of attention at the Singapore Grand Prix as she stepped out in leather hot pants and red lipstick.

The 'Bootylicious' singer who will be performing at the F1 Rocks concert, wore an unzipped custom-made team shirt and hot pants, for a meet and greet event with the F1 champs, reported Daily Mail online.

She met up with the Lewis Hamilton and F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone, before embracing Hamilton's girlfriend, Nicole Scherzinger of the 'Pussycat Dolls'.

There had been rumours that the pair had split after Scherzinger, 31, pulled out of hosting the concert a fortnight ago.

'Mean Girls' star Lindsay Lohan has stepped into her shoes to host the three days event which featured bands such as No Doubt, ZZ Top, Simple Minds and NERD.

"It's a bunch of amazing performers whom I'm a really big fan of," said Lohan.

Beyonce to make history in Malaysia

When Beyonce closes out an upcoming concert at Malaysia's Bukit Jalil national stadium, organizers say history will be made.

"We are confident that (the concert) will once and for all silence international critics and put Malaysia back on track in presenting A-list international pop concerts in this region," concert organizers Marctensia said in a statement Wednesday.

According to Marctensia, Beyonce and all parties have come to an "amicable understanding" over wardrobe and the region's troubled past when it comes to international entertainers.

Earlier this week, the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party opposed Beyonce's forthcoming concert deeming her "skimpy attire and behaviour onstage" immoral.

Nonetheless, organizers, calling her a "role model," believe Beyonce's forthcoming concert will make history and open doors for future concerts in the region.

As previously reported, Beyonce is due to perform in Malaysia October 25.

Beyonce to Pull in the Crowd in Singapore

SINGAPORE : Some of the world's hottest music acts will go full throttle to entertain Formula One's glamour set this weekend as Singapore works to build on the success of its inaugural Grand Prix.

Last year's race was a sell-out but in tough economic times ticket sales this year have been slower.

To boost the off-track experience and pull in punters, organisers have spent big on a star-laden party.

Superstar Beyonce headlines the three-day F1 Rocks Singapore festival at Fort Canning Park, also featuring No Doubt, Black Eyed Peas, Travis, Simple Minds, ZZ Top, and Chaka Khan.

Hollywood starlet and paparazzi magnet Lindsay Lohan will host the event, local reports said.

She stepped in after Pussycat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger pulled out after reportedly splitting with her driver boyfriend Lewis Hamilton.

Inside the Marina Bay street circuit, the Backstreet Boys and a host of top deejays, led by John Digweed, will keep the music pumping long after the Formula One cars have driven back to the pits.

The drivers have their own exclusive party at the Official Formula 1 Lounge, hosted by European socialite and TV presenter Tamara Ecclestone, F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone's daughter.

Tickets are being sold at a hefty 500 Singapore dollars (354 US) per person, or 12,000 dollars for a VIP table.

"It's about time Singapore had a taste of real Grand Prix glamour and The Official Formula 1 Lounge will enhance the overall appeal of our night race," said Michel Lu, director of the Stereolab dance club that is hosting the event.

Singapore is heavily reliant on tourism and events like the Grand Prix are part of its strategy to boost revenues.

Last year, overseas tourists in town for the race chalked up a total of 168 million Singapore dollars (119 million US) in receipts, according to the Straits Times.

Beyonce to have a Concert in Malaysia - at last

Beyoncé has announced that she’ll finally perform a concert in Malaysia despite the dress code.

Bey will take the stage in Kuala Lampur this October 25. “Beyoncé for the first time ever has decided to make Malaysia part of her I Am… World Tour,” read a statement on her Web site.

This comes two years after she originally backed out of a show in Malaysia when members of the Islamic protestors threatened to bust up her concert over her revealing costumes and sexy image.

In light of this new concert a member of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party said Sunday that it would send the country’s government a note protesting the concert. However, this time around they don’t plan to stage a demonstration to disrupt the show.

"We are not against entertainment as long as it is within the framework of our culture and our religion," said Sabki Yusof, the organization’s youth leader of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party. "We are against Western sexy performances. We don't think our people need that."

One place that doesn’t have a problem with Sasha’s onstage style is Sydney, Austraila, where she performed this weekend. During her concert, Beyoncé brought a little girl named Chelsea, who’s suffering from Cancer, out to deliver a special serenade.

Beyonce sued for smelling

Beyonce has her irons in lots of fires, but she would never step on anyone’s toes! From TMZ:

A&F just filed a federal lawsuit against Beyonce, claiming her upcoming line of products called “Sasha Fierce” — which includes a fragrance — is a knock-off of their own line of smelly good liquid which is simply named “Fierce.”

In the suit, which was filed in Ohio, Fitch claims they sent Beyonce a cease and desist letter in 2008 when she started applying for “Sasha Fierce” trademarks.

Hmmmmm…but Beyonce’s side had this to say:

Beyonce’s rep, Alan Nierob, just issued the following statement: “There is no fragrance line directly or indirectly associated with Beyonce that has the name ‘Sasha Fierce’ or anything using the word ‘Fierce.’”

I guess someone has something wrong in the paperwork. I doubt Abercrombie would waste the money on lawyers if there wasn’t something to fight over!

Beyonce and Jay-Z to rent 8 Million Dollar Apartment in Singapore

Beyonce and hubby Jay-Z are set to rent an $8 million apartment in Singapore! No silly, Beyonce and Jay-Z aren’t migrating. They will be headlining the city’s F1 Rocks concert next month and surely they want the most luxurious pad.
The very rich celebrity couple have been looking at plush penthouses in the city’s Marina Bay area – one of the if not the most expensive neighborhoods in Singapore. This one penthouse has an incredible 360-degree vie of the city and the sea and of course price is not an issue.

A source said: “Beyonce and Jay-Z love Singapore and don’t want to just stay at a hotel while they are there. Some of the apartments they’ve seen have been fantastic but their favorite is the one of the stunning views.” – via AHN

The event takes place on the days of September 24-26 at Fort Canning Park, in Singapore.

All right my question is: Are they paying $8 million bucks for a month, a year or a few days? Darn it’s good to be rich! Hire me Bey! I’ll turn this blog into nothing else but Beyonce and Jay-Z’s reality blog.

Beyonce 'Still Fierce' And Eying Eighth Single Video

Beyonce Beyonce is still 'Fierce', as in "I Am...Sasha Fierce" after seven singles.

According to Amazon, Beyonce's "Video Phone" is due to be released as a single in September and it may just be followed with a new music video from the MTV Video Music Award nominated star.

While Beyonce has not confirmed her intent to release what will be the eighth single from the multi-Platinum certified "I Am...Sasha Fierce, " the idea is not so far fetched, after all Beyonce will remain on tour for much of this fall.

In related news, Beyonce has been named Billboard's Woman of the Year, click HERE for more on that story.

Beyonce has a toned Rear End

Beyonce’s secret to a toned butt.. Beyonce Knowles has a toned rear end, we all know that and Beyonce’s secret is walking up stairs! Jaz-Z wife, pop icon, Beyone admits she was born with a “naturally good” behind, but gives nature a helping hand by climbing flights of steps.

Beyonce, 27 on her curvy butt:

“I guess my butt is natural. But I go through stages like every woman. I like being curvy but sometimes I get curvy in the wrong places.”
“After New Year I do stairs – they are the best thing for butt cheeks. Every January I’ll start working out. I’ll do that for three months and then stop again!”

Beyonce feels bothered by being on the list of sexiest women because she feels that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Beyonce added:

“Some people think one thing is beautiful, some think another is. When people say that I am ‘most beautiful’ or ‘most sexy,’ it bothers me.”
“I like fashion and I like to look good. I like to try at least, but everyone has their own opinion.”

Beyonce to perform at Singapore F1 Race

Beyonce and the Black Eyed Peas have been confirmed to perform at Formula One's first ever pre-race concert.

Booked as part of a three day block of entertainment before the Sept. 24 grand prix in Singapore, the "F1 Rocks" concert will feature ZZ Top, Simple Minds, and NERD in addition to Beyonce and the Black Eyed Peas.

"The world's only F1 night race just got bigger, faster and louder. Our talent is world class and 'F1 Rocks' will rock Singapore." Paul Morrison, CEO and chief creative officer of the concert, said in a statement.

Beyonce Wraps Up DVD For November Release

An expected Live! DVD from Beyonce is on its way to stores and digital retailers.

Tapped during the "I AM... Sasha Fierce" diva's four day engagement at Wynn Las Vegas' Encore Theater over the weekend, the forthcoming "I AM" World Tour-based DVD is said to be due for release in November.

Featuring intimate performances of her #1 hits during the Destiny's Child era and a number of songs from her solo career including "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)," sources say Beyonce was soaring during the tapping.

According to MusicWorld Music/Columbia, "The emphasis for this show was on musicality and vocals with Beyonce only showcasing three costumes, a rarity for the quick-change artist who can sometimes sport at least a half-dozen looks in one evening."

In related news, Beyonce will jet off to Japan, Australia, China and Europe this fall. Click HERE for dates and more information.

Beyonce's forthcoming Live! DVD release follows the late Spring 2009 release of "Above and Beyonce" -- a collection of videos and remixes including "Ego".
