Beyonce's video blocked by own record label

Beyoncé YouTube Page Blocked by Sony – After dispelling rumors that Beyoncè was pregnant, Sony – the singer’s record label, has now taken action on YouTube, removing her music videos.

Sony has blocked all of the multi-Grammy-winning artist’s videos in the US on the video sharing site and replaced them with a message which reads: “This video contains content from Sony Music Entertainment, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds.” Viewers are still able to see them in other countries.

The action comes on the heels of a copyright infringement issue involving Beyoncè’s label, and as techie website Motherboard point out, no doubt stems from the floundering record industry and its desire to have a piece of the online video biz, reports E!Online.com.

There’s no word yet on how long it will take for Beyoncè’s YouTube channel to be active or when videos will be live again.

Meanwhile, Beyoncè’s new TV ad for the Nintendo DS game “Style Savvy” has hit YouTube. The clothing line designer has been backing the game for quite awhile along with tons of other products she endorses. The commercial looks reminiscent of an episode from the retro Nickelodeon kids’ game show Double Dare, as she gets slimed with green goo covering her head and body in the 30-second clip.

Beyonce has denied stories that she is pregnant.

It had been reported that the 'Single Ladies' singer was expecting her first child with rapper husband Jay-Z and that he was “extremely happy to be having his first child with Bey”.

However, a statement given to Rolling Stone simply said that the claims are “untrue”.

Beyonce, who tied the knot with Jay-Z in an intimate ceremony in April 2008, has previously talked about starting a family at some point in the future.

Is Beyonce Pregnant?

If Mediatakeout.com is indeed right, Beyonce and Jay-Z are expecting their first child.

Apparently, the online gossip site learned from a "rock solid" source to the booty-licious pop star that she is pregnant and resting (for now).

But B, as Beyonce is fondly known, is expected to continue working throughout her pregnancy.

Earlier, the gorgeous Mrs Jay-Z has spoken about the hard work of having a baby, having watched her younger sister Solange marry and have a son while she was still a teenager.

Rumours on B's pregnancy first surfaced in 2008.

German Magazine apologises to Beyonce

The editors of a German magazine have apologised to singer Beyonce Knowles after running an erroneous article about the singer and her marriage to rap superstar Jay Z.

The article featured details about a bogus marriage contract and Beyonce's controversial feelings about white producers.

"We do have serious doubts in the truth of many statements of the interview of Ms Beyonce Knowles published in Neon, Issue January/2010," contactmusic.com quoted Neon editors Michael Ebert and Timm Klotzek as saying in the apology printed in the magazine.

The magazine said the article was written by freelancer Ingo Mocek who was not able to verify certain statements, particularly those regarding a marriage contract of Knowles.

"Therefore, we assume that the interview did not take place as claimed by Ingo Mocek. We sincerely apologise to Ms Knowles and her management for all personal inconvenience that may have arisen due to the publication of this interview," it said.

Another Hayeslad06 said: "It's great to see an artist finally taking the time out to actually make interesting video's instead of the boring repetitive dancing to a white background shit we see of late!"

"Lady GaGa is showing the world that the music video is not dead, and I wish more artists would take note."

"Its a shame the likes of Madonna, who once revolutionized the music video, have now resorted to making cheap crap and just expect their fans to be happy with it! What happened to artists taking pride in their work? "

On Friday, March 5, Beyonce revealed a project that she and her mother, Tina, have been working on for years. Together they opened the Beyonce Cosmetology Center.

The pair held the opening ceremony at the Phoenix House in Brooklyn, which is a nonprofit recovery center for drug and alcohol addiction.

The program is a seven-month cosmetology training course for men and women. All of the products that will be used at the center has been generously donated by L'Oreal, while Beyonce and her mother will donate $100,000 annually.

Following New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's remarks, Beyonce explained her ties to the house, which stemmed from her visit to the house in 2007 as she researched for her role in Cadillac Records.

Beyonce told MTV:

"I felt like they needed something that was geared towards women — something that would teach them skills that would give them hope even after the Phoenix House."

On this opening day, Beyonce explained how proud she was of those at the Phoenix House because of their strength to get help. Beyonce cut the ceremonial ribbon and had a brief set of photo ops.
